Project 5

For this project I think I want to do a sort of self portrait. I plan to take things I enjoy and use them as textures. I will plug these separate images in as different features of my face, body and surroundings. I will be using a variety of tools to make the different textures conform and take on the shape of my skin, hair, clothing and other parts of the image. The textures used will be mostly organic. Here are some examples:

Continuing work on the Visual Narrative..

I decided not to make it such an easy straight forward scene and to be more playful with the different figures. Some people and animals are exaggerated in size or in odd positions. I still have work to do on the background and shadows at this point.

Project 4 - Visual Narrative

Project 4: Visual Sequential Narrative

My image idea for the sequential narrative is to incorporate my neighbors moving from apt to apt doing various activities. A lot of us are friends and I feel it would be interesting to see how we interact. There would be multiple figures moving throughout the picture, some being shown more than once. I will take many pictures from the same view point across the complex to show the most amount of activity. This project will incorporate my friends and show my everyday life.
